An English Aneroid Barometer, the case of carved oak in Banjo (Wheel) form.
Pottery dial and all original,this piece was made about 1900.
This example is 2ft 10ins high and the dial is 8ins diameter.
The case is of a medium honey colour. A good working piece and therefore a genuinely useful barometer.
