An English mercury tube Stick Barometer,measuring 3ft 4in overall.
Nicely engraved silvered scale,covered by a glazed door.
The case chevron veneered in mahogany,double edged strung in fruit wood and "ebony",and with it's original cystern cover.
Donegan & Co are listed as working in Newcastle between 1820 and 1840 (Banfield).
