Chiming English Bracket Style Clock by Elliott. Ref: ws098
An English Bracket Style Clock made by Elliott of Croydon. The 8 day movement with original jewelled lever platform escapement, has Westminster chimes on the quarters and strikes the hours.
Overall measurements are 1ft 1.5ins high,9.5ins wide and 7.5ins deep.
The dial is engraved brass and silvered. The burr walnut veneered case is of an antique design which has been quite sort after recently.A good reason for this might be that it suits both traditional and modern minimalist decor.
A clean all original piece of c1930's date.
