An English Bracket Clock,made c1840.
The mahogany case with brass inlay and banding,and brass mounts.The dial repainted c1870 for Gremells and Schwer of Greenwich,London.
The double fusee movement strikes the hours on a bell,the backplate and pendulum are border engraved.
Overall hight 1ft 10ins,11ins wide and 6.5ins deep.
An imposing piece which has been properly looked after over the years.
