A French Gorge Carriage Clock,Early Japy Freres.
Made c1835.Ref: ws3310.

This brass cased clock measures 6.75in high,handle up,3.75in wide and
3.25in deep.
The 8 day movement strikes the hours and half hours on a bell.
The backplate has the blanc roulant stamp of Japy Freres,1823-1827.
It also has an applied plate "Stevenard Boulogne sur Mer".

Made c1835,probably for the French market,this clean and tidy
little clock has been recently restored.
