Black Forest (German) Cuckoo Clock,Victorian Period. Ref: ws202
A German Black Forest Cuckoo Clock.
The main case is 1ft 6in high and 11in wide.
The cast brass movement of 30 hr duration,lyre pattern,dates the clock to c1890.
Cuckoo and strike on the hours and half hours.
Original numerals on dial,original weights and pendulum,very neatly carved original hands.
The stag head has lost it's antlers,but retains it's original and realistic glass eyes.There is some minor damage to the woodwork.
A relatively easy restoration project.
