Measures overall,including pendulum,2ft 2in by 1ft 4in and 1ft deep.
The carved wood case shows 2 automaton birds,the quail at the quarters and the cuckoo at the hour.
The 3 train movement is of 30hr duration,weight driven and of cast brass construction,c 1875.
