An English Longcased Clock by Bellman
of Broughton.  Ref: ws004. 
Made c 1830,the case 6ft 11in high,the arched painted dial 12in
by 15in.
The oak case is cross-banded in mahogany and other woods.

Daniel Bellman of Broughton,Lancashire,is listed in both Baillie
and Loomes as a clockmaker in the first half of the 19th Cent.

The 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell,the condition
overall is very good,the clock having been restored about
10 years ago.
