An English Long Cased Clock with Painted
Moon Phase Dial.   Ref: ws3388.

The case is made of oak,the hood door veneered in walnut (?).
Overall height is 6ft 11in but the base has been reduced by several
inches to accommodate a low ceiling.

The 8 day movement with calendar and seconds strikes the hours
on a bell and has  gear driven moon phases in the painted dial arch.

The dial measures 13 by 18ins.The clock was probably made c1810
to c1830 in the north midlands.

Currently in unrestored condition,having had no attention for many
years,the clock can be purchased as seen,part or fully restored.
I have provenance back 50 years in Worcestershire.
