A Scottish Long Cased Clock. Ref: ws3389.

This nicely proportioned Grandfather Clock is 7ft 4in tall,1ft 7in wide and
10in deep approx.
The 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell.
The case is veneered in mahogany,good flame on the front,the trunk and base lightly strung with fruitwood.
The hood has blind frets,side windows and brass paterae,brass
corinthium topped fluted columns.
The painted dial is 13in,marked for Dawson of Haddington,working about 1810.
Attractive blacksmiths scene in the arch.
A mainly right piece in good condition.
