An English Orrery or Planetary Clock,with 6 Planets, made by the Devon Clock Co.
8 day twin barrel platform escapement movement. A modern version of a much older clock,this example has the extra features of the orrery,months and zodiac signs, not seen on other examples.8ins high,base diameter 9.25ins.
Apart from being a good working clock this item is an interesting conversation piece,and mechanically very attractive. Date 1980's.
