Royal Geographical Society World Time Clock.

Commissioned by the Royal Geographical Society in 1988,the Franklin Mint
produced this Collectors Edition of a world timepiece clock.
It measures 11in high by 9in square.The base is ebonised hardwood,
the globe is ceramic lettered in gold,the frames and other parts are
solid brass.
The 8 day jewelled platform escapement movement is by Elliotts
of Croydon.
The 24hr band clock below the globe shows local time,the globe
shows time all around the world.
