An English Turret Clock of Small Size,with a
Cast Iron Dial. Ref:wsn 871.
An English turret clock movement,Victorian period,measuring
8in high,9in wide and 10in deep.
Of bronze and iron construction,dead beat escapement,6 spoked
wheels,maintaining power and silvered setting dial.
Possibly by Thwaites,it has two take offs,one not shown.
The wooden pendulum rod has a suspension spring intact plus
beat adjusting screws.Bob and slip missing.Length approx 3.5ft.

The cast iron dial is just over 2ft in diameter,has black painted
copper hands,transfer gears and counter weights.
Unusually small and very attractive,in my opinion older than
the movement.
