A German Vienna Wall Clock in a plain case.
Made late Vic period,overall length 3ft 5in.The 7in enamel dial showing seconds.
8 day single weight driven movement(no strike or chime) with maintaining power,brass pendulum bob and lead filled brass weight.
The case is of walnut veneer and ebonising,the back board quartered walnut veneer.Unusually for a clock of this period,there is no sign that the case was originally adorned with turned finials,hence my description "plain".
