A English Dial Wall Clock.Ref:ws3236.
This clock measures 9.5in diameter by 5in deep approx.
The case has an oak surround,the bezel of cast brass,the dial and
bevelled glass are convex.
The engraved silvered dial fronts an 8 day going barrel (non fusee)
movement.
The clock movement is marked "EMPIRE" and was made c 1931 by
English Clock and Watch Manufacturers Ltd.The dial is marked Clemence Eastbourne,a retail outlet.
Although the "works" of the clock are the very good quality
of the day,the case,dial etc are quite the best you will see,on par
with Elliotts or Garrards.This does not infer alteration,the clock is
completely original and I will guarantee that.
